                   Year 5/6 Friday 3rd July

Children receive an icy pole as a celebration of their effort.

This year due to COVID-19 we have had to adapt our Lapathon and it will be running a little different to previous years. Children will not receive stamps on their cards on the day of the Lapathon, they will be encourage to run or walk as far as they can during their allocated sports time, that is up to 20 laps for juniors and 40 laps of the school oval for seniors.

Due to stage 3 restrictions spectators will not be allowed to watch the Lapathon.

Please note: the school and the teachers have been very kind during this time accommodating us running the Lapathon, if a year levels Lapathon is cancelled due to rain there is no chance in the sports calendar to replace this event.

We use this event as a fundraiser by asking all the students to gain a donation from their friends, families, neighbours etc.  As you may realise due to COVID-19 fundraising has decreased dramatically which affects the great work the P&C can fulfil for our kids.

If anyone has not yet received the form, or has lost it, spare forms can be obtained from the front office or download here >
